Butterfly, Winter 2013

Our second assignment for Painting I was to make a painting from a photograph. I chose the photo below, taken at my friend Erin's house in Rhode Island. I joked with my teacher that I'd never be able to paint again because I put so much into this painting.

I edited this picture to be square and more saturated.
